About the Role
This highly successful major national practice that continues to grow, currently seeks to recruit a senior commercial lawyer to join its busy team based in the Thames Valley. The remit of this Commercial Group that spans a number of offices, is wide ranging and includes for example, advising on, leasing and concessions arrangements, public private partnerships, infrastructure projects, outsourcing projects, regulated contracts (e.g. financial services), commercial joint ventures, IT and technology licenses and contracts, and ecommerce. The person sought for this role will have broad commercial experience and will be capable of dealing with larger projects, outsourcing transactions, major supply contracts, complex commercial projects and being involved in board level commercial advisory work. S/he will be capable of leading significant transactions for major corporates and supervising more junior colleagues throughout. At this senior level, the successful candidate will be expected to play a key part in marketing the team and managing key client relationships.
About You
You will have a minimum of 5/6 years solid commercial experience to cover a large number of the areas mentioned above, and are likely to have gained this at a major regional, national or City firm. You are likely to have experience of major contract negotiations with some experience of managing teams. You will be a keen business developer with some track record in this area.
