Responsibilities will include precedent maintenance and development, training, the collection of external and internal know how for the firm’s database, client bulletins, seminars and training, and general queries from fee earners. The role is based in Bristol within a team that consists of one PSL and a professional support paralegal, There is also a wider group of professional support lawyers across the firm. Although Bristol based, the role will involve travel to the firm’s other offices.
Technically our client requires a property lawyer with a minimum of 3 years’ relevant post-qualification experience gained in house or at a City or highly regarded national law firm. Specific knowledge or expertise is required in some or all of the following areas of real estate practice, investment and corporate occupier; development and strategic land; property finance; planning; or residential.
It is essential that candidates have first rate research skills and the ability to analyse complex areas of law and identify key commercial issues for clients. Good oral and written communication skills are also key, as is a real enthusiasm for, and ability to present, technical legal issues in a straightforward, approachable and professional manner;
