About the Role

To provice transactional and commercial support to the European business as part of the pan-European Corporate Legal team currently consisting of 3 lawyers. This is an initial 6 month contract to cover a period of maternity leave.

The role will centre around etablishing new funds and advising on structure and heads of terms in setting up of new funds. Monitoring external lawyers in the preparation and approval of fund documentation conforming with standard forms and group policy. Incorporation of new vehicles, both in the UK and overseas, appropriate to fund structures.Monitoring and ensuring that fund structure conforms with tax advice both in relation to fund and group companies. Managing and approving the drafting of Information Memorandum, Management Regulations, Investment/Property Management Agreements. Drafting and agreeing terms of compliance plans. Managing and coordinating the drafting, revision and completion of new/restructured finance and hedging documentation by external lawyers.Managing the Due Dilligence process. Investment/Property Management Service Agreements.

About You

You will have a strong Corporate/Finance backfround and key experiuence in Funds. You will be UK qualified and available to start a new role at short notice. You will have a minimum of 4 years post qualified experience gained either in a recognised law firm or In House environment.
