About the Role
This is a rare opportunity to join a highly regarded regional firm with a good reputation in the education sector. Based in the firm’s employment team, you will act mainly for independent schools, maintained schools and academies advising on contracts, policies, regulatory compliance and depending on experience, contentious matters ranging from statutory complaints, defending discrimination claims, and pupil and child protection matters.
About You
Candidates will have a minimum of 2 years relevant post qualification experience and need to have previous education experience, ideally having advised operators in the education sector. You will have genuine desire to further specialise in educational work. The work is largely commercial so some relevant experience in this area and/or employment law would be useful and experience in child and care law would be also be advantageous.
