About the Role
A new and exciting opportunity has arisen within the one of the West Country’s leading commercial property practices for a commercial property lawyer with 2+ pqe. Acting for clients that include developers, investors, major national lenders, consultants, public bodies and commercial businesses you will undertake a wide variety of commercial property work including residential and commercial developments and retail transactions. You will have a good level of client contact whilst you run your own caseload under supervision and also assist senior colleagues on larger, more complex matters. Typical work might include, sales and acquisitions; assisting with a range of development matters; assisting on secured lending transactions for major national lenders, and providing property support to the firm’s commercial team. In addition to fee earning, you will be expected to take a part in business development initiatives.
About You
An enthusiastic and ambitious property lawyer is sought with a good academic background and a minimum of 2 years solid commercial property experience. Particular experience of development work would be advantageous, but is not essential. You will require strong drafting skills, and excellent interpersonal skills as well as a real enthusiasm for developing a career in commercial property.
