About the Role
Our client is seeking a legal assistant, legal executive or solicitor with previous business immigration expertise to join its Immigration team in Reading. This busy team assists clients based in the UK or setting up in the UK wishing to employ skilled foreign nationals. A lawyer is sought who can assist the Partner with dealing with a number of overseas companies and entrepreneurial clients who actively invest in or trade with the UK. Work will include for example advising on and processing Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 5, sponsorship licences, dependants, visas, and UKBA audits.
About You
Bright candidates are sought with c. 2+ years experience of business immigration and who have for example knowledge of obtaining visa/immigration clearance for overseas workers and experience of dealing with overseas or entrepreneurial clients trading in the UK. Candidates do not necessarily need to be legally qualified if they have the appropriate legal experience.
