West Legal is committed to promoting sustainability and continually reducing our impact on the environment. We intend to minimise our business’s carbon footprint by adhering to the following:
- complying with, and endeavouring to exceed the requirements of all relevant environmental legislation;
- ensuring that all measures are taken to reduce the use of natural resources by maintaining energy and fuel efficiency, and where possible, purchasing from renewable energy suppliers;
- ensuring that waste is minimised and recycled whenever possible;
- encouraging the use of public transport and car pooling for all business activities;
- investing in materials and equipment that minimises environmental impact and recycling these whenever possible;
- using email for all correspondence, whenever possible;
- double-sided printing and the re-use of scrap paper, then recycling;
- encouraging home working;
- regular review of this policy and looking for ways to improve it.
